Established in February 1951, Warabi-Za chose Semboku, Akita as its headquarters, creating original musical stories usually having its roots in the Tohoku region where Akita resides. In addition to the performances offered by Warabi-Za, adjoining facilities include hotel, hot spring/bathing facility, a restaurant that serves house-brewed beer, craft shop, and blueberry farm.
